MESSAGE FROM THE HoD
I, Ms. Parmita Phukan, HOD, Department of Chemistry, deem it a great privilege to forward herewith the ‘Profile’ of the Department, MDKG College, Dibrugarh, Assam. I really feel proud to observe that the Department of Chemistry of this institution has done a lot of contribution since its inception on 2016 towards the popularization of this very important subject of science among the enthusiastic students and also the general people of this region. Even during the period of COVID 19 in 2020, the department took initiative in preparation of ‘sanitizers’ and open distribution of the same among the public, which resulted in a great deal of relief to the common people. This is just an example; there are lots of other measures taken from time to time by the Chemistry Department of MDKG College for human welfare. I wish that the teachers and students of the department who have worked as a family altogether, will proceed a long way in near future for the cause for which it was established in the institution. Long live MDKG College, Dibrugarh, Assam.
